In 1999 Applegate Gardens™ was formed after a decade of formal horticulture and design by Linette Applegate, Head Gardener at Toddington Manor, Bedfordshire, a stunning 16th Century Manor house.
As a design and landscaping practice, the company has designed and constructed countless gardens in Beds, Bucks and Northants - designing many more across the UK through our online garden design services. Further success and expansion led the company becoming Applegate Gardens Ltd in 2003. | | | | Investment in our software, database and e-commerce technology allowed the business to expand in 2004, developing our unique Flexi-Garden-Designs (patent pending) for the mass-market. |
| | 2005 saw the company develop a trade only service, providing landscapers with bespoke design for their clients across the UK. In 2006, Applegate Gardens broke new ground, partnering Homebase - the UK's No.2 Home Enhancers to bring garden design to the High Street, including in-store consultations. |
| | | 2008 sees the launch of Trade Gardens suite of tools, unique platforms for landscapers, property developers, self- builders and designers to use with clients, revolutionizing the consultation process.
We're a family owned business, fast moving and constantly developing market leading products. 2008 see's more advances in our technology and services. Our website is the largest garden design and advice website on the internet, with approx 1,000,000 unique, targetted visitors expected this year. |
